David Kehm of HDA says that the plan isn't to go before the Architectural Review Board on this building until May 16th. Design being worked on and tweaked a little.
The project has returned with some key differences:
New design that does away with the "L" shape and does away with the tan terra-cotta facade elements for an all glass facade.
Height increased from 20-stories and 225ft to 24-stories and 280ft.
Total number of apartments has decreased from 270 to 254.
Total number of parking spaces has decreased from 380 to 342.
Sterling Bank will still have their new bank branch and home office there.
The project cost grew from $100 Million to $105 Million.
The new plans, among other things that deal with the project, were submitted to the Clayton Architectural Review Board Pending Applications page this morning.
Clayton recently adopted new mixed-use zoning as part of implementing the comprehensive plan from a couple of years ago. The application appears to request wavers from some mixed-use requirements. It will be interesting to see how the plan commission reviews both the mixed-use wavers and the "smallness" of the project.
