This would be the most transformative way to ignite development between DTW and Midtown.  The Brickline Greenway will be a nice amenity, but will not have a huge development impact by itself.

Include appropriate bike lanes, storm water management methods (similar to cortex), and soil cell tree systems and yes I’m totally on board.

The best part about that kind of traffic calming is that it's very politically expedient. Not only does it vastly improve the streetscape and slow cars down, it also adds street parking capacity! Perfect solution for some of our wider streets.

I would like this better if a street car was down the middle.

There’s a good point in the article about making sure the right bollard is chosen for a particular project or aesthetic. I definitely agree with this as well as the idea of a blended security line of a variety elements ie not just bollards.

I wish they put those at the corners of Lindell and Union.  Get rid of those hideous white concrete structures.

On the Rosebury improvements, does the crosswalk then get moved to the North side of the intersection?

Kind of dumb to only have one curb bump out rather than doing both sides

Are you ready for four-color traffic lights? The first traffic light, which controlled horse traffic on the Westminster Bridge in London, consisted of semaphore flags and red and green lights. A constable manually operated it. Today, traffic lights consist of red, amber, and green lights, colors agreed upon by an international convention in 1968, and are often controlled by computers and sensors. But future traffic lights may have a fourth color: white.

That didn't take long. Disturbing that the bollards aren't stronger. An appearance of big negative consequences for drivers is somewhat helpful, but appearance of safety for people outside of cars isn't.

It was only a matter of time. The speeds that some cars are traveling on that stretch of FPP and Skinker is appalling. It’s not irregular at all to see vehicles going double the speed limit.

^^ I thought bollards had the piers go into the ground a couple feet / filled with concrete.  Four bolts isnt stopping a riding lawn mower.  This is what value engineering gets you.
