OK, we need some new pics up in here. Maybe we could use this thread for singular pics that don't necessarily merit the creation of an entire thread.

I'll start, though I'm cameraless at the moment (my old one was a victim of the skate park in the City Museum) so you'll all have to put up with cell phone/Instagram pics from me for the time being:

C'mon, let's see what you've got.

Appropriate that the Magic Chef building appears to be crying.

Great to see the building is still around:

Here are a bunch of random shots from over the Thanksgiving Holiday:

Started saturday morning at Soulard Market:

The Midtown Skyline walking out of the Billikens game:

Continuing on through Midtown: The Sun Theater renovation is progressing:

KDHX's new headquarters looks like it's almost ready. Magnolia Cafe already had it's beer taps installed:

An intimidatingly deterring sign on an old Midtown manse:

The new Bailey concept in Midtown, Small Batch is coming together:

Walked passed more than a few beauties on the way Downtown. Two neighboring examples:

And wound up with a peak at the BPV progress (saturday afternoon and they were working away):

^Thanks for sharing. Wasn't aware of or had forgotten about some of those Midtown projects.

It's been far too long since I've been downtown with a decent camera. Just a few pics of the old SWB building:

So a couple of weekends ago there was an open house at the Southwest Bank building at Grand & Gravois. My wife and I checked them out and were pleasantly surprised to see they allowed access to the rooftop deck. The view there is tremendous:

FTR the units themselves are really nice - I like the layout of the West units better than the East ones - and are a steal at under $100K. The location is the main drawback for us. The building's not near enough to highways (as our places of employ are in Chesterfield and O'Fallon, MO, and the commute from Affton's bad enough as it is) and not close to our regular place of worship. Still worthy of consideration.
