^ Same, some colored renderings would help. I do really like the design of the apartment building, however. That's really new and different for St. Louis. Either way, seeing this chunk of Midtown filling up with new development is quite exciting.

I quite like the one with the outdoor fireplace on the patio.
I'm sure they'll all be very handsome; they're just more understated than I expected. I also appreciate the fact that these will be moderately priced.
Mexico City fingerprints all over the housing. Minimal. Clean lines. Anyone figure out the lot widths?
Corner building could be special.

Color could make a big difference. I thin, I was halfway expecting a sort of contemporary take on Portland Place or something like that. The somewhat more approachable prices are a pleasant surprise, actually. And, as framer said, the buildings are handsome if a touch understated. Now . . . bright color could altogether change that statement. Make it seem almost tropical, maybe. Just add trees. And yes, the apartment building is pretty hip.
Update. Note that the development area now includes the northeast corner of Vandeventer and Westminster.

Not sure if we can say construction is officially underway, but there's a ton of infrastructure and site prep going on.

A pool in which giant women can float, while their men play bocce, is an awesome concept...very retro!wunderwaffle wrote: ↑Jan 03, 2020and the extremely conceptual masterplan by Tatiana Bilbao:

Site prep continues. Looks like there are some sewer/water connections for the future houses. The Wolfner building has an elevator installed. I've seen colored renderings of the apartment building, it will be a brick color or may actually be made out of brick. I am still waiting for those to be publicly released.

^Cool! While not the most obvious, this really is a cool little project that should add considerable cachet to our town for generations to come.
Walls are going up on the first home, and site prep is going full-blast on the north side of Olive.

Photo bombed by the Neurological Research Bldg. tower crane:

Workers buzzing all over the site. One of the homes is getting a steel frame. Must have lots of glass. Also, looks like foundation work is starting on the southern portion of the apartment building along Vandeventer.
