I'm back in town for a few days (fall break) and decided to swing by late last night. I was surprised by how bright and colorful it is. It almost feels like it has an atmosphere of joy and fun already.

I like the Mill Creek Valley Memorial's look and how the inside of the pillars feature quotes by former residents.

I wonder who's sponsoring the covered up with red tape gate?
Under the red tape says WWT, so I imagine it’s the World Wide Technology Gate.
I know the main beer will be A-B but it will be interesting to see what local brand(s) get a shot in Centene Stadium. (Enterprise has Schlafly stands.)dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑Oct 13, 2022All the food vendors will be announced Nov 3rd
I feel like schlafly and UC have to be there.

So here's my challenge to City SC: can you beat the Cards and the Blues to bring home the big trophy? You're arriving in a heck of a sports town. Let's win this!
Anyway, yeah, it's looking fantastic. I've been driving past there a lot lately. It's completely transformed that bit of downtown. Very much looking forward to game days.

From the contour, bumps in the tape, looks like WWT (Worldwide Technology)dweebe wrote: ↑Oct 13, 2022I want to say these are new this week.chriss752 wrote: ↑Oct 13, 2022I'm back in town for a few days (fall break) and decided to swing by late last night. Sauce Magazine: St. Louis City SC announces first local restaurants that will serve soccer fans on game days
- Balkan Treat Box
- BEAST Craft BBQ Company
- Steve's Hot Dogs (HYAAAH!)
- Niche Food Group, i.e. Brasserie and Pastaria

I think this is a strong lineup. I'm happy to see BEAST Craft BBQ is involved; they're probably my favorite barbecue restaurant in town. I'd rank them well ahead of downtown's other barbecue restaurants, Salt + Smoke and Sugarfire.
Balkan Treat Box at the stadium is a no-brainer. That should be a smash success.
It appears that these restaurants may even be able to operate when there aren't games. I sure hope so.

Looks like Maggie's is going to miss this mark by a mile as the inside still looks rough.

Plus it doesn't look like much is going on work-wise at The Pitch as I don't see many work trucks or activity over there. Our Downtown Location Is Closed For Remodeling From July 24th For 4-6 Weeks

The Pitch was a very active work zone this past weekend, I was there.
Maggie Os is opening Nov 11th, I think they were very optimistic on getting $2,700,000 worth of work done in 4-6 weeks
Good. It will be nice to have them back as a pre/post option for Blues games.dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑Oct 19, 2022Maggie Os is opening Nov 11th, I think they were very optimistic on getting $2,700,000 worth of work done in 4-6 weeks

Idk why the piece at the suggests options for playing games at Busch or the Dome…this will be fixed before feb 2023
I thought the same thing. That was weird to put in there.dbInSouthCity wrote: ↑Oct 21, 2022Idk why the piece at the suggests options for playing games at Busch or the Dome…this will be fixed before feb 2023
Has anyone heard anything more about the potential friendly next month?
I heard just this week that parts are back ordered 10-12 months and they do not have enough power to run the scoreboards unless it is fixed?

Luckily, it's a soccer stadium, so this is no problem.Techstl wrote: ↑Oct 22, 2022they do not have enough power to run the scoreboards
