The gym generates $180,000 a year (34% of revenue), so per parking spot is a bit less. Maybe $17,650

^First, that's a neat shot. Second, glad to see work progressing. That's such a neat old property I'm really looking forward to seeing it open.

^ Agreed - love seeing this one chugging along - drywall is a great sign. Assuming that means electrical/hvac/etc are (or almost) all done.

Oh man, that is going to be such an improvement! Been waiting on this one since I lived across the street at the Meridian.

I couldn't remember what those looked like before, hah. So I put these together real quick while I was looking on google maps.

That ballroom would be a great spooky movie set. Calling all location scouts!

Dear all
Nice to see you all anxiously waiting for the completion of Jefferson Arms Project. I surely appreciate your kind words and support.
In April we are contemplating of having a community meeting to present to the neighbors and anyone interested building program detail. I will post the announcement.
St. Louis is a wonderful city. Together we can revive the downtown. I believe in that. Otherwise I and my partners will not take substantial risk with Jefferson Arms.
We are also working due diligently to figure out a way to retrofit the garage across the street on Tucker in collaboration with SLDC.
Have a great Easter weekend.
Mike Sarimsakci.

Awesome, that garage is a highly visible eyesore. I hope that the retail space can be revived too

Hard to imagine that garage getting new life. It is about 10-15 feet too narrow for ideal garage dimensions which range from 125 - 135feet wide for two ramps. By my google maps measure its 110ft wide. Very narrow. should be demoed and replaced with a residential building. Build a new garage on the empty lot the block north of there to serve Jefferson Arms and adjacent lofts. Still a narrow site but with new build they could get creative and make it work.

^you got the let the photo reach out 100% upload before pressing post
Color palette and second level reminds of the ballroom scene in Sergei Bondarchuk's 1967 'War and Peace.'
For cinephiles, it's a great bit of cinematography.

^It's a solid, classic ballroom look. Somewhere or other I have a short screenplay for a music video squirelled away that calls for a ballroom. That'd be an absolutely great one for the job. Love it AlterraMike! Good luck!
