Apologies for the photo quality but I’m liking the brick pattern (with the raised brick) on the north elevation of the north building. They’re getting more of the radiant material on the east elevation (maybe not as cheap of quality as a previous commenter has suggested), then looks like they’ll wrap the brick around the corner. Still hopeful the grocer opens by summer.

A rendering of what almost was on the north lot of the Expo project. Plans came together from Pantheon to rehab the 300 block of DeBaliviere into an urban mall. They fell apart after historic tax laws changed in 1987 and Pantheon convinced the neighborhood saving the buildings wasn’t economically feasible. Had this plan gone through, the north building of the Expo likely doesn’t happen today, and these beautiful buildings are still standing.

There's three more on that corner, though set back.

^Nice find, Seattle. I love those vintage, hand-drawn renderings.

Lots of north building facade being wrapped in brick now. Feels like they’re moving pretty quick at this point.

The south building is up to 6 stories now. Commanding presence looking down Pershing Ave or DeGiverville in Skinker DeBaliviere.

The massing on this project is so great. I’m really excited for these buildings to finish this summer.

I should have taken pictures when I was on the opposite side of the development. It looked like the north building had the brick up on the entire west facade as well. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the north building finished before Hudson.

Would be cool if the north building finished up including streetscape so they could at least bring half of the barriers down.

Things appear to have stalled again. I guess it's rained a lot.

was there not some plan tossed about for a grocery store at this corner? https://imgur.com/a/eoKeZa5

I’ve heard they’re focused on finishing residential before moving on the commercial, which doesn’t sound great from a leasing perspective.

It was a biz journal article that broke the news. Kind of a bummer. The urban fields foods concepts all suck.

It was in the PD, at least as of 3 hours ago, I think SRQ just copied the wrong link.
