I asked WashU at the neighbors form when they're going to do something with their property around the Delmar station. They said Bi-State is struggling, so not focused on this (I'd say misfocused) and WashU is waiting for a TOD developer to show up.

They may be struggling, but it's not like Metrolink is going anywhere... right?

I think by struggling they mean capacity to undertake development even with a partner.

That's unfortunate! Has anyone been to MMG lately & was the place dead or something? I figured that place would do well. I wonder how the Putt Shack does at the Foundry. Same concept. I have a bad feeling that Covid-era boom businesses like this & Top Golf are seeing business slow. They over-expanded in that era. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I sure hope JE has big plans for the space!

I feel like magic and putt shack are very different though. Magic’s holes were basically for kids. I took my kids there many times, but there is no way I’d go with a group of people my age. Putt shack caters to an older crowd  (21 and up) in my opinion.

Either way though I am sad to see it close. It was great to take my kids in winter when you couldn't go to an outdoor one.

I see. I wasn’t able to get over to MMG.

I hope Tower tea is able to get some of the items that were purchased for MMG. Unless the new concept is Golf-centric

It actually seemed decently busy to me. I’m glad he’s keeping the sign. The neons have really contributed to the aesthetics of Delmar Loop. There are not many streets in the US out there with that high caliber of collection of neon signs. The magic mini golf is an outstanding neon

This lot was cleared today. Anyone know the plan for it?

I doubt there is a plan.
