Not really sensible with power generation and heat radiation requirements combined with limited transmission capability. Would probably be a better investment to build O'Neill Cylinders, tbh.
Post Dispatch is reporting a data center proposal is imminent for mark twain industrial park. The investment is expected to EXCEED the $3B Midtown Data Center and would be the first major data center in North St. Louis. It's going to be remarkable how much revenue for both City and SLPS is going to be made up of data center money by 2030.

Officials expect the project to locate in Alderwoman Pam Boyd's ward, which includes portions of the north riverfront and the Mark Twain/I-70 Industrial neighborhood.
And it is expected to be large — with investment exceeding that of the $3 billion development near the Midtown Armory.

ok this is my last data center post of the evening... i'm not confident that the City will enforce the 10-year/100% renewable requirement in a way that actually compels the data centers to comply. that would require huge fines leading to shutdown if not satisfied, and given the City's track record on enforcement i don't see that happening.
