I assume Doug Woodruff's new position will keep him in St. Louis. Any thoughts on a good move for Wexford/Cortex? The only thing that nags me, shouldn't Cortex have a hired gun in the biotech/tech hub of San Fran & Silicon Valley? I think most locally companies and exec's have made their intentions clear with the latest being WWT.

Not sure if it's just related to the sidewalks and curb work for IKEA... But there is some activity on the NW corner of FPP and Vandeventer. Multiple Bobcats, a construction trailer, and multiple workers moving some earth.

^ don't see anything with permits so it's probably related to road work or utilities. etc. Great to see that Vandeventer is indeed getting re-paved, btw.

I'm near IKEA now. If I can figure out a way to upload photos from my phone I'll post some.

Update: They are in fact grinding up the old surface of Vandeventer. Looks like they started up by Lindell and so far have made it down to FPP. They were working on the machine when I drove by but I would expect them to cross FPP either today or tomorrow and start working towards 44 soon too.

Thank God they're repacing Vandy -that street is terrible. St Charles folks are still gonna get crazy angry at the 64 East Vandy exit but the paving will help that road. I hope they repave all the way through 44.

Vandy repavement is almost done. Just awaiting new lane striping.

Also, looks like they're already working on the foundation for the new building at FPP and Boyle. Some new concrete is already poking up and they've been drilling new piles.

IKEA will be utilizing the empty lots where the stalled Silo Lofts project is eventually going to go. Sounds like it'll be employee parking... Not sure if that's permanent or just for opening week.
