The prices in those buildings are not higher than in the CWE.

Missouri Athletic Club is considering opening a 3rd location at the Pierre Laclede Center in the space formally occupied by the Saint Louis Club at 7701 Forsyth Blvd. They would occupy the 14th and 15th floors, but not the 16th floor.

A decision could come in the "next few months".

The Downtown location will remain the flagship, and there are ongoing enhancements at both the Downtown and West County locations.

Work Description:
Existing multi-family housing at Concordia Seminary will be demolished and relocated from near Big Bend Boulevard, east to the interior of campus. The
new housing includes 81 units in 5 buildings. Existing single student dorms will be replaced with 78 new efficiency units, located adjacent to the new
multi-family units at the center of campus. A new, two-level, open-air parking structure with approximately 146 spaces will be constructed near the new
housing to serve the students and families who live on campus as well as the faculty, staff, and visitors.

I'm a lil confused about where this is being built spatially but sounds good.

They're saying the multi-family housing at the west end of campus, near Big Bend, so I'm guessing it's this:

ConcordiaSale.png (1.68MiB)
It's residential now, it'll be residential when it's done. It's a mix of single and multi-family now, it'll be a mix of single and multi-family when it's done. Not even sure why there's a conversation here. The only thing is the sem isn't really getting rid of their student population, they're just consolidating east and selling some land. (To repay the money the synod loaned Joy, maybe.)

Besides the Maryand and Topton Way Condos I made a thread about, I never did share the other small condo building planned nearby. This one's planned at 10 Brighton Way. by Douglas Properties. It's designed by Core10. 4 total condos, 10 parking spaces. It went through the proposal process earlier this year and, I believe, was approved.

It's safe to say that Core10 basically has a monopoly on new condo building designs in the region. They've done a ton in Clayton include the townhomes on Alamo Avenue, they designed the condo buildings that have gone up in Kirkwood (and the one that's under construction), and are designing the ones rising at Wildhorse Village in Chesterfield.

They had a CUP go before the Planning Commission recently. They are basically rebuilding housing in its current location. They are doing phased development. The plan and first phase are on Clayton's pending applications page.

^Sure hope they don't muck up the exterior. Clayton has lost so much of it's MCM architecture recently.

I still think they should make that front a climbing wall.

They have plans on the pending applications page. The exterior is not changing much aside from a small addition on the ground floor.
