Good point but wonder if this becomes a charter flight deal for game day events.  However, the day to day of running business including the airport makes Dallas a better fit at end of day.  Throw in the Texas perk of exec's not having to pay no state income tax

However, a thought considering you got Rams Settlement funds in hand, is a future XFL training & media campus on north riverfront.  Cut a deal with casino and take up some of the extra surface lots nearby.  The pitch to the Rock is if he wants to make an impact then St Louis could be his city instead of being in Jerry's shadows.  A working man's league in a working man's town not beholden to the billionaires.

Super excited.  I plan to get season tickets again, like my seats last time but I think I will get even closer this season

XFL will be successful in STL again but not as successful as last time, a lot of the success was driven by younger people who will give STL City SC a shot first. Both seasons start at the same time

Everyone went into the same waiting room no matter what team they were wanting to buy.

Well I can't seem to get my deposit to process and I have emailed the XFL with no response.  Has anyone actually processed their deposit?

Well that first game was a rollercoaster!

AJ McCarron really came onto a game late on. Really like that 4th and 15 rule.

The Battlehawks broke the XFL attendance record with a home crowd of 38,310. It's the largest attendance for any Spring Pro Football game in the US since the 1990s.

^ and a lot of those 38,310 stuck around for dinner at various downtown restaurants. we tried like 4 before finally getting a table at the Range and they were backed up too

I ended up at BPV after an unfortunate mixup with some Blues tickets lol, and I would guess hundreds of Battlehawks fans showed up there after the football game and stuck around for the Blues game.

I didn't make it to yesterday's game, but I'm hoping to make it to one of the home games coming up. It'd be sweet if Battlehawks fans could push or pass 50,000 by the end of the season.

I'm not sure if any of this turns any NFL heads -- or if we even want it to -- but the game yesterday sure looked fun on TV.

^ I was there and it was indeed an amazing atmosphere. I do think they’ll be able to pass 50k at some point this year. They could’ve had more yesterday but didn’t have enough staff to work the entire upper level. St Louis just needs to focus on doing the XFL better than anyone else and the NFL will come knocking someday.

The NFL will come knocking when St. Louis has a viable ownership group with $2-3 billion for expansion fees.

And a new generation of voters/politicians willing to give them billions for a new stadium.

Just last week Nashville took some steps to fast track their $1.3 billion taxpayer gift to rich men.

Along with Buffalo that price tag seems to be the new bar to stay a NFL city.

Is there a nickname for the dome?   Like The Zou for Faurot Field?  How about "The Hangar" (for fighter jets).  Or "Wild Bird Sanctuary".

Battledome. I like that.

By the way, if we lose to Seattle and hence tie in the standings, I believe the tie breaker is touchdown differential. So besides winning, what would the BHs need to do to get in the playoffs?

Maybe this discussion should be moved to the XFL thread?

Found this on YouTube, thought it was a cool little video and nice to see the vibrancy around the Dome. Even if it looks like it was filmed on a potato. 😂
