I’m kind of hoping 2CW will be slightly taller but I would patiently wait for something taller elsewhere in downtown instead.

I'm hoping 2CW is more of a maximized unit play. I'd love to see a nice full sized building with a lot of south facing windows.
Am I misremembering, or were there rumblings of the Cardinals buying the old Mike Shannon's building? Although that would be kind of awkward to have between the Hilton and the other building to the west. Just thinking if BPV may ultimately expand beyond the remaining three lots. If they still owned the stadium garages it could become really massive. But I guess Phase 3 hasn't even been revealed, so one thing at a time.

There were rumbling of Cordish potentially be interested, but nothing concrete or substantial came of it. I don't doubt that there were and probably still are conversations (as I'm sure there are by many large developers who are always doing due diligence) on future development of this site though.
I still think it makes sense for DeWitt family to buy 300 S Broadway outright from the SLCC and a pay premium for the parking lot as part of long term plan, real estate play. Unless I'm mistaken and SLCC has already sold.

What's worse, the BPV surface lot, the one east of the stadium or the ones to the south? Or heck the stadium garages? The one to the east seems worse to me, it is right across the street and a building would not be interrupted by I-64, like it would be to the south.
Walking to Busch from other parts of the city is still not inviting. Rockies, Reds, Red Sox and Cubs all seem to be much better approaches.

^ Interesting thought about acquiring 300 S Broadway and the parking lot, but I think they'd also have to acquire the GSK/Tums building. And if they (for whatever reason) re-purchased the east garage, they'd have a whole thing going. But again, I'll just take Phase 3 at this point.

I feel that BPV will be our version of Times Square (albeit much smaller) when it's finished. Taken these this afternoon OCW fits into the skyline nicely adds definition. Think if 300 S was in construction phase. We need several high rises to the south to really add density.

Believe the large swath of parking to the south is already owned by public entity and slated to be Chouteau Pond as part of the greater Chouteau Greenway plan. The lot north of Cerre is. 8 acres of tax exempt parking!
The one close to Tucker is owned by TRRA and is tax exempt too!

Unsure if posted on here before, but building permits show a Starbucks going in at the PwC Pennant Building. I believe this will go in one off the spaces facing OneLife/Sports and Social so that they can have outdoor seating.

Drove by tonight, with only the Bourbon Bar at Loews and Sports and Social being open, BPV was busy. Can't wait to see it when all of Phase 1 is open and Salt+Smoke is open. This place will be very busy.

I rode by today and didn’t think the TV on the stage was too small. It seems to be a pretty good size for the space. What is the legal possibility of ever removing tax exemptions for some of these lot owners (if they're own by a NFP, for instance). Or even, levying higher property taxes versus their built neighbors?
I walked by the space, as well, last Saturday while touring BPV and Arch grounds. I wasn't underwhelmed by the size of the video board, either. It looked like an appropriate size for the space, imo. Would a larger screen look even better? Sure, but I think it's fine the way it is. ^ I think maybe it's just the framing around it that gives it that illusion. In the grand scheme, the size of that TV doesn't mean much. Obviously it all looks better than that partially underwater field they had before all of this started.
