^Woops, you're right. That's what I get for not reading closely enough.

Still, I stand by my statement as a general comment.

^ And I agree with that statement!

I can't picture the specific building right now, but it looks like Edmonds picked a fine location for his new establishment.

I am so sick of restaurants that use their addresses as their names.

Use your brain already and come up with something original!

What about the nightclub "1227" which basicly started the whole rebirth of Washington Ave?

I think that's a reference to his uniform number, but I agree with you. I'm willing to let Eleven Eleven slide, but that's it!

Yeah, that's the first thing I thought of too...

It's a nice play on the fact that his jersey number is 15.

Maybe it's too clever for some???

That is a nice looking building! I'm going to Schlafly's tomorrow, so I'll get a look at it when I walk by.

He certainly wouldn't be opening a steak house.

I drove by tonight. Looks like Edmonds picked a great spot!

Locust Street in Downtown West and Midtown has loads of potential.

I am glad to see there is new life being generated between Tucker and Jefferson. (East to West) and Delmar and Market (N to S). Till now, the focus was deeply on residential. I am glad to see good comercial ventures come through.

I am also VERY glad that Jim has chosen DT rather than the county.

Jim is ok in my book. I agree, I love that he chose a city place and not someplace in westport or west county. Pujols dropped a few points on my card when he opened his place out in Westport (who goes there anyway?).

Go Jim!

Lots of people go to westport. Try going there on a saturday night. The bars and clubs are usually very busy. It's usually frequented by a lot of people from west of 270. If anyone should be upset, it's Ozzie Smith for Pujols pissing in his backyard. Doesn't show a lot of support for one of the all time Cardinal greats.

Of course, the cardinals are half way to a full lineup of restaurants:

3rd - Mike Shannon

1st - Pujols

SS - Ozzie

CF - Edmonds

Only need 2nd base to fill out the infield! Of course, with the way cardinals chew through second basemen, I wouldn't expect one for a while.

I would totally go to tommy herrs...

He was my fave as a kid.

What a head of hair that dude had...

The motif could be mullets, and they could have tons of pictures of people sporting them on the walls.

Just read the write-up in St. Louis Magazine - sounds like it's going to be a really cool space.
