Boeing plans to simulate dusk to dawn lighting in 787s flying to Europe to help reset internal clocks. It can be used to trick the mind. Bright artificial light shining on the inside of the dome ceiling could be made almost indistinguishable from a translucent roof with the same positive effects. That would be a lot cheaper than replacing the roof, or even putting in skylights. And it retains the option of controlling all the interior lighting for dramatic fire and smoke player entrances in the dark like the one the Rams conducted yesterday.
After that, maybe they can introduce fresh air and breezes.gary kreie wrote:Boeing plans to simulate dusk to dawn lighting in 787s flying to Europe to help reset internal clocks. I don't hate the Rams. I think some St. Louisans glean so much civic identity from the Cardinals that it's wrong to like another. To me the teams are like children, you love them all for their own reasons.
Rams are higher on my list than the Blues. The Rams have a national championship to their belt. Still waiting for the Blues. The Cardinals have a lot but it's not 1920 anymore and MLB has like ten times more teams now. (hyperbole!) That World Series win count is really skewed.

I would absolutely love the city to come together this year, throw caution to the wind and just lay it all on the line. Let's give them the "Cardinal" treatment. Eliminate our own and national doubt of the Rams staying and just focus each week on unwavering support. Weekly (real) sellouts. Playoff atmosphere every Sunday. Signs and special edition shirts and ads in Schnucks and Dierbergs. Downtown office banners signaling "GO RAMS" each week. PR opportunity from City Hall to parallel the resurgent comeback of STL City along with the STL Rams....back to the "glory days" of both.
I love the St. Louis Rams and despite the convenience to portray indifference due to losing, believe that our community does too.
Let's do what we can in 2014 so that we either go out with a fight with pride, or build momentum toward that amazing day when they announce a long term commitment.
Go Rams. Go St. Louis. #gottagotowork

I like it. Kind of a "you don't deserve it, but we're giving it to you anyways" thing. And by "you," I mean Stan Kroenke and the general franchise. The current front office, coaching staff, and players all DO deserve that kind of support, IMO. Stan doesn't, but let's make sure he knows we care anyways.
Wish I knew how to start a movement that big.

I believe Brian Burwell said one of the things the NFL requires to allow a team to move is lack of fan support. So we fans can thwart any attempt to move the team by just showing up and selling out every game. Then they would need to stay new stadium or not. Let's start a campaign to do that. Can we get businesses to buy seats and sell them to employees really cheap?
