It'll be exciting if the office tenants are from out of the city.

It looks like an observation deck that will straddle Brickline Greenway. It was shown as the Brickline Greenway slide.

The elevated Greenway will be really cool. Would love Brickline to extend on the abandoned elevated rail line going north from downtown towards the river too

You know you are a StL brick aficionado when you are excited for a sand down and exposure of old brick on the Midtown Sushi building

Not sure if it makes a lot of sense or not but assumed a planned phase would incorporate a hotel by now and or they would be actively pursing.    In other words, the planned phases look like the timber framed office building, greenway observation tower, and a rehab on east side if i got that correct.   Where as AI generated a bunch of aspirational variations of what could be some day.  Do i got my summary correct?

Maybe just hoping too much that they had a hotel in pipeline for near future/be announced soon.

I wonder if they are content with letting the Element and other Grand Center/CWE hotels handle guests. I agree with your point about this looking more like AI generated aspirations.

That said, this story from the Post Dispatch today https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/business/article_c254b62a-08e8-4fa7-8ee5-e4f7d85c592a.html#tracking-source=home-top-story outlines specific growth:

"Smith and New + Found also has more in store for City Foundry. Its goal is to expand the $354 million mixed-use entertainment district at Vandeventer Avenue and Forest Park Parkway, east to Grand Boulevard. In the pipeline: An office building, more apartments and a redevelopment of the former Falstaff Brewery building adjacent to the foundry's grocery store. New + Found aims to use the former brewery as a retail incubator for entrepreneurs to scale their businesses. Work could begin by the end of this year, Smith said."

Renderings for both are included above. Apartment tower is imminent and will be at the base of the Brickline I-64 crossing. The Vandeventer office building rendering has been around for awhile, not sure if the one above includes any changes. Steve said during the presentation that he believes its one of the best sites in the region and is hoping to land an office tenant for the building soon.

Thanks! I had never seen the renderings of the apartment building. Does "270" refer to the number of units?

Thanks for sharing.   The 270 Apartment tower on east end will be another great addition.   Hopefully they see a construction loan secured soon and the Feds don't raise rates today.

The design of the apartment tower on the east end seems incomplete in the renderings shared. It’s the same design from the early City Foundry renderings and the Falstaff building renovation is AI too, but we’re getting the details on the next wave of development of the Foundry. 270 units is the same unit count as One Foundry Way, so I expect a building of similar massing.
