^Thanks! Fun watch. I don't follow aviation as closely as you do, but I follow it closely enough I figured there wouldn't be too many surprises in it. Figured it'd be a feel-good program anyway, and I'm happy to relive those Game 6 grade moments in our history, even if I did watch the thing in the first place. But the Red Tail Cadet program at Elite was a neat surprise. That I did not know. A lot of neat educational programs, really. And that's good to see.

Now if Lambert can snag a flight International flight going south of the border that would give better Latin American/South American connections. Not the flight to Cancun, etc.. Of course, reality is American Airlines STL to Miami accomplishes the same thing but would be nice to add another International carrier to the mix going in different direction

British Airways will add a fifth nonstop flight between St. Louis Lambert International Airport and London next March, Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge said Monday.
She said the airline decided to take that step following strong sales for its four-day-a-week service begun in April.
"The stats are really good," she said. "They're very happy."
Hamm-Niebruegge said through mid-June, the number of seats filled has "consistently run in the high 80%" range and that most outbound flights from St. Louis have been above 90%.
Plans call for the five weekly flights to run from March to October of 2027, like the current four-day-a-week seasonal service.
She said there's a slight possibility that the number of round-trip flights next year could increase to six. She said that will be based on the availability of aircraft.
Hamm-Niebruegge said she still hopes that the airline will eventually make St. Louis a year-round destination.

Drove home today past the airport and there was a BIG bird labelled Eastern parked at T2, and it dwarfed the Lufthansa plane. Anyone know what is up? I have not posted an image before but I will try, I went back and got this image from the cell phone lot.

Eastern is a charter airline, cargo operator, and passenger to freighter conversion firm based at the airport in KC. They do a lot of military charters and iirc some sports, etc.

Thinking at this point focus on new service should be increasing domestic service, both new destinations and more frequency to existing destinations allowing for better travel schedules for people with more options throughout the day.

^Interesting that they code share with members of every alliance, while not presently being members of any. I guess they were historically a OneWorld member, and they do seem to do more business with them than the others. I guess they have the extra iron. I certainly wouldn't argue with another transatlantic flight.

It’s high-time the city sells a portion of its ownership to St. Louis County and St. Charles County to develop a world-class airport. This current version will be steeped in mediocrity and our region can’t keep accepting mediocrity. At some point we have to rise above.
The only problem I see here is St. Louis County not having the money to become a part-owner of STL. They are broke too.
