I’ll celebrate once they actually put shovels in the ground. I feel like I’ve been burned by hope this is happening for far too long.

Why can’t you just celebrate the news. Don’t be such a Debbie Downer! Hahaha

Fool me once, twice, twenty times. The good news will be when they actually start building it. :-)

Maybe they will finally better connect the metrolink stop to this development. It’s way too inconvenient despite it being right there

Road diet and sidewalk improvements would be nice.

Yep it could definitely be narrowed to a 2 lane road with a left turn lane at the intersection with Brentwood. This section of Galleria Pkwy is overbuilt, leftover from when there was a 3/4 access interchange with 170 that was largely removed in 2007/2008. There could be a nice wide sidewalk and planted buffer that connects to the MetroLink Station and the neighborhoods beyond:

They will not do this. No offense, but do you people ever actually talk to white people in St Louis County? They HATE the metrolink

Richmond Heights and Bi-State both just agreed to dissolve their transit improvement district in the area. The district funded such projects. The reason? They feel all projects to support users are complete and the municipalities would like their taxing ability freed up. I wouldn't hold my breath.

And JaneJacobsGhost is right. I bet this developer has had more conversations about how to contain MetroLink than how to support it.
