Could they replicate the bus bump-out and include a pedestrian crossing through the bike lane? Replace the parking lane with a drop-off lane.

This is what's done at Union Station in Chicago. Bike track-->Taxi lane-->driving lanes with a ped crossing across the bike track.

thats not even being built , it could be later but it isnt right now

Years ago as part of his downtown beautification project, Charlie Brennan spearheaded planting the medians on Tucker. They really looked great for a number of years.

Calling 80% of the people on here is lazy… Like that 80% don’t contribute to paying taxes to helping the city be better like that 80% hasn’t done any type of community service’s or other things like picking up up trash around the neighborhoods dropping off food & clothes off at food banks and goodwills like that 80% just sit on their ass’s and look at screens & don’t work…. It doesn’t matter if one does more than the other it matters that they’re trying & trying is better than not…. I applaud appreciate & am very thankful for what BD does & he’s done his due diligence for St.Louis. The same with every other serving leader no matter if I disagree with the way they lead they have my utmost respect they are doing for more than what I’m doing it’s a very tough job to lead people cause you can’t make everyone happy but anyone that lives work in the city are contributing to making the city better & keeping it going. DB should run for mayor someday he if choose’s to be….. it’s a forum everyone has a right to complain & voice their opinion be critical yet be thankful for the wins this city has to battle with…

This is going to be a particularly useful route especially once the Chouteau protected lanes are finished this year and the Brickline is eventually extended east. There is plenty to criticize about the STL street policy but you can't deny, residents wanted safe N/S connections into downtown and they have followed through.

I've said this before, but downtown is ripe for another bike shop. Particularly one that rents bikes. A real bike network is FINALLY coming together and downtown is the nexus.
