We only have paper ballots.  It was the same at the primary.  Parson's signed this into law effective 1/1/2024.  House Bill 1878.  Found this on a google search.

I voted today at the Board of Elections, no wait time at 10 am.

A St. Charles County republican has sued to end early voting because he wasn't allowed to be an overzealous MAGA watchdog at a polling site.

Yeah, I forgot about the primary.  MUCH shorter ballot so probably didn't register with me.

Low effort. There are a million videos of people harassing and intimidating trump supporters too but I'm sure you'll excuse those.

Another outlandish claim by a Trump supporter made with zero evidence

^ but there are a million! it should be super easy to dig a few up, right? maybe, like, some inner-city librarian making stabbing motions at a Trump supporter with a Harris-Waltz pitchfork? or maybe a Planned Parenthood clinician (i.e. zygote soul devourer) wielding some forceps?

You could argue the rhetoric from the left calling Trump Hitler/fascist led to two assassination attempts. Both sides are more similar than they like to admit, and it pains me seeing people so sure they're on the good side.

^ even historians who have studied fascism their entire adult lives have said that he is an authoritarian with fascist tendencies, if not wholly fascist (yet). so, again, no: acknowledging the reality of authoritarian/fascist behavior is not equivalent to authoritarian/fascist behavior.

Yet neither of those attempts were inspired by the lefts language… just old “fans” of his that overdosed on the political conspiracies that HE made relevant.

You know how I know I’m on the right side? I’ve moderated since 2012. I am less of a liberal than I was when I voted for Obama. I am more open to a moderate Republican opinion than I ever have been… it just doesn’t exist.

Again, the Republican Party no longer has a platform based on policy. They are a party lost to an authoritarian who pulls his policy out of his ass as it serves him best.

Trump quoting Hitler, hijacking the entrie GOP to make it the Trump party, and promising to begin the largest ethnic cleansing this country has ever seen on day 1 is what nearly got him killed. Had nothing to do with the Democrats.

“from the left”.

Trump’s Republican Chief of Staff called Trump a fascist who admires Hitler.

He just threatened to put Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad for speaking out against him, but we can't stop talking about "garbage".

"Both sides! Both sides!"

To be fair, you’re taking that comment way out of context. Listen to the full clip. He’s saying that Liz, like her father Dick, is a warmonger. She wants thousands to go to war and face down enemies who have barrels focused on them.

So if she wants to be a warmonger, she can go to a war zone, hold a gun, and face down enemies who have their guns aimed on her. It’s not an assassination call, but this election has brought out the worst in both sides. Anyone on the Left siding with the Cheneys after years of bashing them are disingenuous.

This thread proves there’s no room for an ounce of splitting from a singular thought without attack. A microcosm of today’s politics. Trash behavior exists on both sides these days. And it’s on full display in the closing weeks of this cycle.

Excuse me, but it’s the Cheneys, George W., Mitt Romney, Nikki Hailey, John Danforth, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, etc. siding with the liberals.

Do not dare say the left is “siding” with them as if dem/progressive policy has changed

Thank you Chris. My point was only to say there are valid arguments to vote for and against both candidates, and anyone who says otherwise is stuck in their own world/news cycle.

You are stuck in your own world/news cycle if you think voting for someone who tried to overturn an election is in any way justifiable at all.

Are you even aware that he's promised to deport 15-20 million people? Do you have any idea how completely insane that would be?

The deportation stuff is never going to happen on the scale they say.

The last time, Trump said he was going to build a wall and Mexico was going to pay for it. We ended up building like 100 feet of wall and we definitely paid for it.

He may as well be running for class president, promising all students free ice cream at lunch Monday through Friday.

That just furthers my point.

He is running on the mass deportation plan (which I'm sure would happen at least in part) solely to stoke fear in his scared voters, full implementation of his plan would push the US into a massive recession, and anyone with a brain knows he's flat out lying. But NO ONE gives a sh*t for some reason and there's lots of totally good reasons to vote for him even though his agenda is totally insane and is never going to happen. So we don't even know what his real agenda is.

The Republicans just can't stop lying. It's what they do.

Like with Amendment 3 in Missouri, and with similar amendments across the nation, they keep saying that it will open up our children to transgender surgeries at school without parental consent.

It takes an ounce of critical thinking skills to wonder, Where is the money for the surgeries going to come from if the parents aren't involved?
