Has to be a google drawing because an image does not have a large enough resolution. You can zoom in and out, move around, etc... There are a few small errors, mostly because of how the images joined together, but they are very small. I tried to cover up most of them though.

That's what I was alluding to in my post about their lack of updates on the airport's "Non Stop Service" page. I did notice, however, there were major updates to the page after you and I conversed here. Did you email them again? Kidding.
REK is completely removed now as a destination. Los Cabos is now showing with Volaris, and they've added the new Sun Country destinations. They're also showing Punta with F9 and WN. They've also added Montego Bay with WN. It's nice seeing a bigger mixture of airlines, rather than just WN on every line. They still need to add Huatulco with Volaris.
They had their monthly board mtg today, so the minutes for the Jan. mtg. should be posted soon. Feb. mtg agenda mentioned Contour. I suspect something will be announced about this any day now...if they remember to do it.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too...they'll remove Swiss Air and add Volaris when they add Contour, thus being +1 on total number of airlines. I'm still betting on C28 for Contour, esp. if they add Indy as a destination. Going over the floor plans again the other night I noticed the rather large (20,000 sq ft!) vacant space at the C end of D on the Apron level. Does anyone know what that used to be? It seems totally empty and so unless it's maintenance/mechanical space, I'm not sure what it would have been used for back in the day. It does seem to have access to D2/D4's apron stairwell though. Any possibility of getting some use out of that space besides airline/airport business?
Also: I believe I've asked this before but what's the purpose of the two little towers on the concourses (one at the end of B; the other at the point where C bends)? Were/are they ramp control towers?

Yes, I was thinking this too after I posted last night. Maybe there's a gag order from City Hall. They fixed a security leak - some (myself included) were accessing these files by using 'directory browsing' - pointing our browsers to https://www.flystl.com/uploads, which showed a directory tree containing all of the uploaded documents on their site. That's bad, and it's good that they fixed it. But now that they have fixed it, they should make this stuff publicly available on a served web page on flystl.com so the public doesn't have to exploit security vulnerabilities to find them.
That said, if you know what specific document (or specific type of document) you're looking for, you can still get to the documents via a Google search. Example

Contour is going to be using gate C27. Sun Country is switching to C28. I would guess because C28 is set up for bigger planes (mainline/widebody) so they probably don't want to change it to handle and RJ when C27 already can.

They "fixed" the issue the same day as their "press conference" last week. It still ticks me off. Like you found out, everything you could access thru the /uploads was already on the site before at the link you put (as well as a few other places). It just made it a lot easier to see what was new before. Now I have to go to each different page. So I really didn't get the point of changing it. This does seem likely. Their PR seems a bit... out of touch with reality at times, especially on their social media accounts. Almost seems like they could use a Millennial's help (hell, I'd volunteer)

I've been looking at the roofs of the terminals lately and I have been wondering a few things:
Did concourse A/C ever have a skylight? There appear to be triangles that have been covered up near the bends.
And...
Why did they replace the old brown roofs with black roofs? Why hasn't concourse D been refitted with this new roof? (I'm not sure what material they are, but my guess the black roofs are better at insulating or something)

Always thought it'd be kinda neat if Delta paid to have the one on A's roof painted like the Delta widget...
Can't speak as to their color/material choices, but I do believe that the brown roofs (I think they're of the type called a "Built-Up Roof") are older (as in, a few decades at this point), and a cursory Google search leads me to believe that that kind of roofing material has a life of about 20-30 years. I've noticed on Google Earth over the past few imagery updates that they seem to steadily be replacing more and more of the entire roof with the black sheet material. My guess is that they prioritize older roofing, roofing in more important/trafficked areas (which is why some things, like one of the B connectors, haven't had the treatment yet), or roofing that is in dire need of replacing first (hasn't the airport had some leakage issues in T1 relatively recently?), so that's why some areas still have the older material, including D, which is newer than the other concourses in T1. I'd wager that D's roof is probably nearing the end of its useful life though, and we'll probably see it be replaced within the next few years, particularly if/when Southwest continue their gate creep.Why did they replace the old brown roofs with black roofs? Actually, it looks like it will be much smaller and way at the other end of things:
"Urban Chestnut will partner with OHM Concession Group, which holds the lease on the 8-by-8-foot kiosk space, adjacent to a Great American Bagel location in Terminal 2, that will sell the brewery's product. Previously, the space held a grab-and-go kiosk where customers could buy water and snacks."
The new map doesn't clearly show all the dining, but American Bagel is apparently down by E8. So I guess that's not what's going in the former chapel.

I expect more will come to C as they'll be reopening some substantial spaces. There's more beyond the wall than just hold areas and gates. (And I honestly expect that's probably where the proposed new customs area will go, if only for reasons of cost.)
It's always slower than you want, but interesting things do seem to be afoot.

The former chapel space is quite small, so whatever goes in there can't be anything full service. If it's not a DD, it most likely will be an Auntie Anne's, or something similar. I'm not expecting much. I do hope they put together something significant for the new chapel, as this would add to the overall ambiance to the terminal.
Have you seen STL's flight status page recently? Both Contour and Sun Country are assigned to C27. When there are arrivals from both airlines, the gate goes to Sun Country and Contour has to wait. I guess they must still have a lot of overflows to C28?

You might seriously want to apply for that job. Did you see the STL social media post from a few days ago? The empty red rocking chairs, empty between banks -- I know, but still. According to the weekly OAG report Air Canada is adding a 4th daily flight to Toronto starting in June. It isn't bookable (but other routes we know they changed aren't yet either) so we will see if it is real or a misfile.

Yes, I see both airlines are showing C27. Today's Sun Country flights are assigned to C27. Contour is also at C27 when there's no Sun Country flight. At the 6:30-6:50 block, however, there's a Sun Country departure to Ft. Myers at C27 and a Contour departure to Ft. Leonard Wood with no assigned gate. Maybe they're waiting for the Contour passenger load to build before they switch Sun Country?
