I don't recall there being any residential in phase 1- what residential are you speaking of?newstl2020 wrote: ↑Sep 22, 2018From the webcam it appears as though demolition/excavation has begun for the portion of the project encompassing the lot between the garage and the new Wellbridge space. Will be great to see the streetwall continue down Forsyth and to have some more apartments come online.
I think the parking garage is supposed to have apartments on the south side.tztag wrote: ↑Sep 24, 2018I don't recall there being any residential in phase 1- what residential are you speaking of?newstl2020 wrote: ↑Sep 22, 2018From the webcam it appears as though demolition/excavation has begun for the portion of the project encompassing the lot between the garage and the new Wellbridge space. What makes you guys think there will be apartments facing Forsyth? I believe the lot along Forsyth - the former Wellbridge site - where the drilling rigs just showed up will just be more garage. The residential will be a standalone building on the south side of the eastern garage, facing Carondelet Plaza. There hasn't been any demolition, drilling, activity, etc... on the Carondelet future residential lot.newstl2020 wrote: ↑Oct 20, 2018As of this morning there's a drilling rig on site for the apartment building. Going to be great to get a streetwall going up along Forsyth again.
I guess I am getting renderings mixed up because a NextSTL Story from June 2017 (on the auditorium) shows a side view of the buildings approaching Hanley on Forsyth and they look like Apartments even with the design revision. Maybe Centene did that to give it "that vibe" but instead will be parking. If that's the case, bummer. As for the Carondelet Lot, I know it has been revised to be taller but I hope they consider changing it from Condos to Apartments. You could have many more people on Carondelet than if you continued the Condo trend there. The Cresent and Plaza add enough Condos to this part of Clayton, add some apartments to tie it all together.wabash wrote: ↑Oct 21, 2018newstl2020 wrote: ↑Sep 22, 2018Will be great to see the streetwall continue down Forsyth and to have some more apartments come online. What makes you guys think there will be apartments facing Forsyth? Is this the rendering you're talking about?chriss752 wrote: ↑Oct 22, 2018I guess I am getting renderings mixed up because a NextSTL Story from June 2017 (on the auditorium) shows a side view of the buildings approaching Hanley on Forsyth and they look like Apartments even with the design revision.
