Odd that there would be blue on this. Maybe it will be covered up?

Waaaaay back when the Interco Tower was being built (101 North Hanley), the aluminum cladding was installed with a protective blue film still attached. Needless to say, this caused quite an uproar, until they removed the film and revealed the natural aluminum.

Wish I could find some old pics, but that was in the days before the internets.

So the zzza never went in here and now the poke bowl places sign came down. Weird that 2 different places pulled out after it was advertised they were going in. Makes me wonder what is going on.

Makes me wonder what they're charging per square foot. The fact that almost their entire ground floor commercial space is still vacant is absolutely pathetic.

I have wondered the same thing. If none of the businesses across the street move in once they are kicked out then I will guess that is a big issue. It should be easy for some of them just to take those spots if they aren't priced out. I am still a little surprised JP fields is going in the old wheelhouse building. It looks in rough shape.

JP Fields is moving into the old Wheelhouse space so it won't be them.

Yea, I am still surprised anyone is moving in there. The outside of the building looks rough. I thought that would get torn down, but I guess it is a pretty small parcel to put anything on. I did see workers inside of it a couple weeks ago though.

The final retail space is being built out in the Ceylon.  I am surprised it is the new Dollar General concept DGX.  This may cause World News to up its game or may just knock it off.  DGX will be on the corner next door to KINK and the nail bar.

A Dollar General in Downtown Clayton seems really odd to me. Although hopefully it leads to one being opened Downtown.

A discount store without a parking lot in front?! Amazing!
I thought only the Kiwis had figured out the impossible. Maybe it was a mirage.

I will have to check it out, could be a nice addition to several neighborhoods, CWE, Downtown etc... There was a DG on the corner of Sutton and Manchester in the space that is Elmwood/Boardwalk Waffles in the 90's but it was pretty spartan.
