check out downtownrestaurantweek.net for the full listing of participating restaurants. This year is runs from August 13th to the 18th. It's a hell of an opportunity to eat at some phenomenal restaurants cheaply. the only downside is having to choose where to eat. Is also a great opportunity to bring friends and family from outside the city in to be blown away by our dining choices.
Awesome. That's the last week I'll be in St. Louis. And I'll be staying downtown that week. What an awesome going-away present!
Looks like Red will be open by then as well.

Too bad it doesn't include a lunch component.
It's remarkable that the establishments but maybe 2 are new in the past few years.

I plan on doing this up, and had planned on doing up to three places. I'm pretty locked in to An American Place and Simply Fondue.
Anyone have an opinion on Josephs or Lombardos? I'm trying to do places I havn't experienced before.

Lombardo's has the best toasted ravioli you will ever eat. Seriously, if you've never had them you really need to because they are awesome.
I can't get a decent reservation at Fondue to save my life, what gives?

Is there some setting that would turn off subject lines? Because I don't see the word "Red" anywhere in his post.
It's not in his post, it's in the post subject next to the post time.

I'll have to take your word for it.

They were running some food through the kitchen over the weekend, It looks like they are going to open the doors for Restaurant Week. I would still call ahead to verify if you have reservations.

If you call, don't use the number on the Restaurant Week website; it is wrong, or at least the number hasn't been connected as of this morning. Use Red's site where they have other numbers.

It must be my browser, because I never see the subject headers either!

^ On my browsers, it's a way to return to the top of a page.
I know why. When you switch between forum styles, FI Plain doesn't have the subject, but SubSilver does.
