To the bathroom.

Ha! I figured "to the emergency room" would have been the first comical response!

I've had slingers at the following locations:
Courtesy
Eat Rite
Hammerstone's
Soulard Cofee Garden
I'm sure you could find at least three more establishments that serve them.
I know Rooster downtown is supposed to make a pretty good non-traditional one. Someone mentioned Billie's Diner (people seem to like that place but I thought there food was pretty bland, great friendly service though)

We gave my 18 month old part of a slinger while on the go (traveling home for Thanksgiving). Let's just say we now call them "colon blow" around the house.

Rooster has a great variation on the slinger--and is likely slightly less toxic than the others already mentioned...

Yes. It's very good.
City Diner also has a good slinger.
Chilli Mac on N. Broadway.

Or you could try the Slinger Burger at The U... Burger topped with cheese, onions, fries, chili and a fried egg, mmmmm
If you don't mind driving to Columbia, MO, my absolute favorite is The Stretch at The Diner.

The U? Is that like a Subway?

I've had a slinger at First Watch in Clayton, it was actually good but I think it's a special item not on the menu. The City Diner has a decent one. However, can't go wrong with the Courtesy! I wonder if the Buttery has slingers.
I once had White Castle and a slinger in one night
...Never again
Please let the forum know how this experiment works, I'm thinking it'll be like Super Size Me. By day 7, doctors will be telling you to stop!

I've always wondered why The Buttery doesn't have butter...

It's too bad Irv's on Vandeventer is no longer with us. Damn you, Botanical Garden!

Think of the caloric content of its menu, even without butter. Then think Sir Mix-a-Lot.

Anyone have (or want to make) a cartoon image of a slinger? We're thinking about making T-shirts.
