The Sovereign is getting Kurt Vile and the Violators in November. Let's hope they draw well and more artists with a fan base KV's size come to STL vs. the burbs.

Excellent news. I’ve not yet heard they were coming to town. I was at The Sovereign for Daniel Dontato earlier this year and was very impressed with the venue. Hopefully it does well.

Comedy Bang! Bang! is coming to The Pageant in June

I hate driving out there, but the factory theater hall is awesome with great sound - the pre-function sucks though - The Pageant is much better for that, but it is 25 years old now and needs a refresh.
