I'm curious about this.
What are some? Chains that are unique to Missouri or the St. Louis area

Here are restaurants with multiple locations:
JBucks
Joe Boccardis
Calico's
Culpeppers
Mike Duffy's
Llywelyns
Wasabi
And I think Uncle Bills Pancakes has a few locations.
Most of those places I don't really consider chains.

It's still headquartered here (in Richmond Heights).

Yep, SuperValu now owns Shop N Save and Save A Lot, both of which are still headquartered in St. Louis. Minneapolis-based SuperValu is the parent company.shadrach wrote:

Yep, but Clark (gas stations and convenience stores) was (is) based in Chicago. Clark USA, formerly based in St. Louis, split in various pieces, sending Clark to Chicago while the now defunct Premcor (refining) stayed in Clayton. Premcor, which subsequently moved to Connecticut, was recently bought by Valero Energy.Matt wrote:I'm not sure but maybe Clark gas stations were based here.
Any Edison Brother stores open anywhere?
