Looks great. The Burger making needed to go. Horrible staff and sub par food. The Starbucks looks great. The two T2 Starbucks are always packed

^&^^ My comment probably good for the census topic thread but couldn't help but think that my Mexican sister in law likes to reference that more American Expats are now illegally living in Mexico than illegal Mexicans in US (Mexicans only not Hispanics in general, Central/Latin Americans, etc).   I wouldn't doubt that there is some truth in that comment considering, if you get to know Mexico, you can still find a lot of great locations and areas that are probably much more affordable than US.   Mexico, like Europe, you can generally find someone to speak English and flights are getting more plentiful & affordable to more destinations like PV.

To wrap my comment back to flying say out of Lambert.   In other words, my wife and I probably could find a place off the beach even on the beach down south at a much better price than say buying the cabin next to my Sister's or Brother's Minnesota lake home.  In either case we would still have to get on a plane frequently.   So wonder how much of the added flights are driving by Americans making a second home down south and therefore travelling more frequently vs your Spring Break Trip? & wonder how much more demand is out there?    Obviously demand is increasing but is this here to stay for awhile & will STL keep benefitting from it?  I would assume yes.

Yes. Runs most of the year. Takes a break August-October.
Started this past March.

Lufthansa must be very happy with how the STL-FRA route is performing.

But not happy enough to add flights.

Well they are definitely overcharging for the convenience they are offering, so not sure if they would make much more money by adding supply.

Flew out of Terminal 2 on Thursday and came back late on Sunday night.  Boy, it was an absolute zoo here on Sunday.  We had to sit on the runway and wait around 15 mins for a gate to open up!  And there were other Southwest planes sitting beside us too waiting for the same thing.  I have always read the posts here about how crazy that day is and it was amazing to see it for myself!

We arrived @T2 on the Saturday after the CrowdStrike/MS meltdown and it reminded me of the TW hub days. Love seeing all that activity.

T2 always feels that way to me.

^They did that back in the day. Glad to see it again. There was also a free segment downtown, between the Landing and the Convention Center, or maybe a couple of stops west.

June numbers

Passengers
Up 10.3% vs June 2023
Up 9.6% YTD vs 2023

Up 4.6% vs June 2019
Down 0.03% YTD vs 2019 (2,101 passengers behind)

Total passengers last 12 months: 15,569,197

Should have a decent shot at making 16 million this year which would be the first time since 2003 that we would be over that number.

There were six MetroLink stations in the Downtown St. Louis Ride Free Zone at lunch time on weekdays prior to the 2009 service reduction -> Union Station to Laclede's Landing.

^I was thinking the west end might have been Union Station, but I couldn't remember and didn't want to overstate it. If we were doing it again, I could see extending it to Grand. We need that 2009 and earlier service back. Thank you.

So are they taking a shot at the Air National Guard space and using that for a unified rental complex?

I think that means waiting area for taxis and ride share.

^Holy crud, the load factor on those Cabo flights is ridiculous! All of that looks pretty solid, really, especially given how new the Montreal flight is and since maybe it's more business than leisure. (The ticket prices seems slightly higher to Montreal, after a tiny bit of Googling. Though to be fair, it was really tiny.) Anyway, those look good to my utterly untrained eye. I hope they're doing well enough carriers think about a bit of expansion. (Maybe even adding in a new route or two.)
