$850k zoning only building permit application submitted at 2826 Sublette Ave for CONSTRUCT SINGLE FAMILY/COMMERCIAL MIXED USE (ZONING ONLY)
What's this?
What's this?

Actually, yes (just in a crummy form). These were on a LCRA agenda for October 27th, 2020. Comes with this description:quincunx wrote: ↑Dec 17, 2021Anyone know what these will look like? A $640k building permit application has been submitted by SWG Tiny Homes LLC for a set of four townhomes at 4603-09 Cleveland Ave

I'm surprised this made a return because when I messaged Alderwoman Rice last year about this, she said the following in two separate messages (November 17th, 2020)...The project consists of the construction of four townhomes in the Southwest Garden neighborhood. The prospective developer is acquiring the property for approximately $7600 and plans on constructing four townhomes at the estimated cost of $670,400. Each townhome will have 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a total of 1000 square feet per unit. Alderwoman Rice wishes to support this project and the staff supports 10 years of tax assurance with an increase of 2% every year (for 10 years).
Link to LCRA Agenda: https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/d ... erials.pdfI'm sorry this got lost in the election chaos. I've been told, not from the developer, that they're pulling out of this project due to much higher construction costs than anticipated.
It's unfortunately not the first attempt at that LRA property. Was really hopeful about this one, because the developer is local and wanted moderate-income housing for small families, something we're definitely losing in this area. Maybe construction costs will level off here sometime soon.

Federal funds were allocated for bridge replacement whatever year it was shutdown. If I recall correctly, replacement will occur in 2024 and the bridge orientation / intersection will change.Miss Shell wrote: ↑Apr 14, 2023The Columbia bridge was built 110 years ago. It was deemed unsafe maybe about 4 years ago. Last I heard, the city had to put replacement on hold due to lack of funds. Seems like a good project to use those Covid and NFL funds for.

For real. Surprised the location is still open, but glad it still is. I think they'd be right at home in the little business triangle of Clifton Heights.MarkGroth2020 wrote: ↑Apr 13, 2023^Yeah I liked the GastroPit in their previous loc on Shaw. What's the deal with that closed bridge on Southwest and Columbia? That's been closed since the Krewson admin. Think how that hurts the Park Ave coffee shop right there.
