I can see how it can be more expensive because not only would the footbridge be going from the gondola station to the east side but also across the forest to the east gondola station. They would also have to make the height low enough so it goes below the power lines and high enough so it goes above the train tracks. It will also have to be low enough so pedestrians dont get struck by gondolas and match up with the future walkways.
