These Zoom meetings get brutal. I've been party to a couple of monsters with a railroad preservation organization. Everything just takes . . . longer.

Final agenda for Monday
Wow, a lot of good stuff in there. Rung expanding in Fox Park is great, and it's good to see the Greenhouse Project in Shaw advancing. Yet the "does not comply" declarations seem to be shooting themselves in the foot a bit. The new construction on Dolman in Lafayette Square continues to amaze me with the best historic replicas in STL. The townhomes in Benton Park are going on a long vacant lot and are really handsome. Unfortunately, it looks like the funeral home in the Ville is going to be a suburban site plan. I fear North City will go this way more and more over the next decade or two. The something is better than nothing mindset will likely hold sway for many parts of MLK, Page, Natural Bridge, etc.

Is Preservation Review still based on ward? Will fewer neighborhoods be covered after ward reduction?

Its based on historic districts and preservation review districts, so it will be biz as usual.

Preservation review districts are up to the alderman in that it's a matter of aldermanic courtesy.
