There is a Dunkin Donuts in Fenton. I've been there maybe once or twice ever. I mean, you can get a donut at a gas station. Why would I go out of my way for Dunkin? I guess if it were right by my place or work, sure, but not if it's further away than a gas station or convenience store of any kind. They've got donuts, too. There are donuts all over the place. Donuts are almost as common as coffee. Someone always brings donuts in to work anyway so I'm good. I'd like for them to pick a few vacant storefronts and get in there, though. Better than nothing.
As frequent business traveler, as some one who has worked on and off in the northeast and most recently in the Albany, NY area as for me it is all about the Coffee at DD's. Either you like the coffee and swear by DD's as I do or you can't stand it. It has a distinct taste just as Starbucks or Peet's.
As far as Tim Horton's, that is intriguing thought of them being in St. Louis and having head on competition from everyone and their grandma's donut stand. Also worked Canadian eastern maritimes a couple of times and they were everywhere of course, but they were the only choice. So I have no idea if they would have a loyal crowd where as I'm confident but can't back up my believe that you can pretty much find a loyal DD crowd nation wide at this point.

It has nothing to do with the donuts despite their name. People LOVE Dunkin Donuts coffee. That's why they're so popular.Gateway City wrote:There is a Dunkin Donuts in Fenton. It's all about the coffee with donuts #2. Its not uncommon to sit in a DD in Chicago or the east coast and watch a number of sales in a row be just coffee products (hot/iced/latte).jstriebel wrote:It has nothing to do with the donuts despite their name.
