The statement that finally convinced me never to click on this thread again.

Why have the moderators not shut this thread down yet?
The last post about the development of Plaza Square was about fifteen pages ago.

The review of Plaza Square is rated at 4 stars on Citysearch. Yet there are only two reviews, with each at one star. Is this a BBC conspiracy? Perhaps. Ref: http://stlouis.citysearch.com/profile/5 ... ments.html

I fully agree with the above. I cannot believe this mindless banter has gone on for so long. I returned to this posting for the first time in a couple of weeks and caught up on the recent news of plaza square developments. To my chagrin, there was nothing but people insulting someone purely bc he/she does not have correct syntax and grammar. This website is meant to be pro st. louis. If i were an outsider and i stumbled across this thread, i would assume that the people who post on this site are a bunch of callous individuals purely looking to take pot shots at someone else. Obviously, nothing has occured over at plaza square and, as a result, it is worthless airing our opinions until this story actually has more information that is worthy of discussion. We all know there are issues with crime and destituion in saint louis, but merely bickering back and forth is both childish and does not reflect well on a progressive mindset. We are the select few who try not to criticize our city at every opportunity. However, this post reflect poorly on all those who have been willing to join in the fun "just for a chuckle."
please end this thread.
There is so much else that is positive to discuss in this city.

and if the thread is closed, how is relevant news of Plaza Square to be posted? the guy is being teased because he intentionally bastardizes the language and is the boy who cried wolf. maybe it could be closed for a week or so to stop the pattern.

This thread presents a "Damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation, as far as locking it goes.
As always, we appreciate all of your feedback on these matters.

You might remember that we tried that already. Another thread was started, so we merged the two Plaza Square threads. Then, how should I say this, the, uh, "banter" resumed.
I agree with my fellow moderator DeBaliviere- this is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation. I guess one of us could tidy up the thread, but honestly, I wouldn't know where to begin.
Just know that this thread is being watched very closely and has been for some time.

Fair enough to all those who disagree with my point. I wanted to state that we should perhaps cool off on the thread for a bit until some encouraging news develops. if i didnt make myself clear, i apologize. Obviously, locking the post serves no purpose when good news about plaza square occurs. I am keeping my fingers crossed for something to develop.

The insults directed at reddragon go way beyond proper sytax and grammar. It started there, but now goes to credibility and the ability to post coherently.
The possibilities for reddragon go all the way from 14 year old troll to someone who is mentally ill. And everything in between.
Allegedly, he/she/it lives at Plaza Square, so one would think that we would get insider news about the goings on there. Given the incoherent ramblings, and the outright lies, clearly that is not the case.
The best way to keep this thread focused on Plaza Square would be to ban reddragon, since he/she/it has nothing of value to contribute.

It definitely goes further than that. You must not have read through half of his posts to think that. It's about his repeated "video taking" of crimes that did not happen.Washuslouser wrote:o my chagrin, there was nothing but people insulting someone purely bc he/she does not have correct syntax and grammar.
I concur. Ban it.TCS wrote:The best way to keep this thread focused on Plaza Square would be to ban reddragon, since he/she/it has nothing of value to contribute.
Thanks for the input, guys. However, that is our decision to make.
Edited for spelling, because I don't like to refer to people as guy

Don't really think it was a demand, just a suggestion, and I concurred.
Geez everyone so testy on these boards lately.

It's been fun at times, but without any significant news about Plaza Square, this discussion has run its course.
We will reopen the thread at a later date if there are any newsworthy developments pertaining to Plaza Square.
