Like I said before, one of the single greatest polices ever enacted by any level of government in the US.

He makes the Dems look so so so bad because most of what he's doing could be done by any Dem, his rhetoric, his media, his talking with normal people, etc; but they'd rather run soulless husks who are just there to serve donors.

With NYC about to elect a Communist mayor and the Chicago mayor proposing tax increases that the Tribune even calls job destroyers, STL, and in particular downtown STL, should be ready to offer massive incentive packages for firms to move to our beloved city.

Firms will not be fleeing Chicago or NYC because of the mayors. You are not living in reality if you think that.

JPMorgan just opened its brand new HQ today, another super tall office is going through the approval process. The NYC economy will keep growing.

Arrest him for what? USA is not part of the ICC and the Israel lobby/Mossad would simply take the mayor out like they always do.

Mamdani already the most effective elected Democrat in America right now. What a sad party.

Well when you recontextualize the majority of the Democrats as corporate aligned paid opposition, then it makes perfect sense. It's why the DNC and their PAC masters are doubling down so hard on nixing progressive candidates and movements.

HOK is the executive architect on the chosen design for the Penn Station reconstruction.

New renderings that still keep Madison Square Garden. Though I'm wondering what this does to the arena entrances that are off 8th Ave.

You know, that's pretty darn solid. It has echoes of the iconic Penn stairways. I like the use of the clock and the retention of Madison Square Garden's more historic features. I bet they selected the HOK design in part because HOK looks like they're willing to work with the arena and keep it at the location when everyone else wanted to move it. Sounds like the current lease for the arena is pretty short: five years ending in 2029 or so. So it may get revisited. Amtrak, MTA, and NJT all want it out. Sounds like they really did remove the theatre below the arena, which is probably how HOK got the extra space  for the grand entry hall above. Maybe that'll be enough to keep both functions on the same site.

However else they do it, I really do like that design. It won't ever be a complete replacement for what was lost, but it's really quite lovely indeed. Much, much better than the Calatrava whale carrcas. It's almost like they know something about transportation facilities. And since they also know sporting venues . . . I live in hope. Nice project.

I'm still trying to figure out what they're going to do with these entrances to MSG if the new hall/station wraps most of the way around.

I'm a little concerned by all the gold accents. Has that traditionally been a part of The Garden and/or Penn Station, or is that the big man in DC throwing his weight around?
