Sounds good and at same time so vague who will gain the most out of it? The people providing the training or do the marketing or something that forwards skill levels and education for someone who has not been as fortunate as me in life.addxb2 wrote:Minority job training and business development programs are incredible. I'd support them alone. It just seems to me that those were attached to increase the chance that the stadium succeeds.

What have you seen that makes you think that (1) Foundry has the money it says it has, and (b) is willing to work in good faith with SC STL?Chalupas54 wrote:In the end, I see Foundry and SC STL coming together to cover this cost.

Kavanaugh said he was surprised Greitens didn't bother to talk to him first. I think he said their economic study is scheduled to come out tomorrow. Wonder if Rex and Show-me got to Greitens early in some kind of back room deal.Aesir wrote:Step in the right direction for Greitens. This has to stop.

This is what didn't make sense to me, why is this news now? It's been known for a while that Greitens is against public funds for stadiums and the state $ is decided today. Can he do something, after Jan, that would affect the decision today?dbInSouthCity wrote:Well with all due respect (none) to Rambo elect, nobody gives a damn about his opinion on this, any state $ will be long sealed before he takes office
Sounds like a good deal for the state. The state’s economic research and information center estimates that the stadium would generate over $64 million in general state revenue over 33 years.

Can you provide proof that it won't make the state money?joelo wrote:dmelsh wrote:http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/2016/12/20/ ... x-credits/

I'm sure the same research and information center probably said the same thing when the Rams came. I just don't believe it
