That stop sign needs to be a stop light triggered when a resident needs to get out of that subdivision. Either that or a traffic circle.Trololzilla wrote: ↑Apr 25, 2022^ Yeah, have definitely had people blow by me at night racing each other at 60+ MPH on RDP, including blowing through that one stop sign between Gravois and Watson.

^ Roundabout with a raised center would be my preferred choice, if for no other reason that it at least forces a temporary slowdown, whereas traffic lights offer no calming if there's sustained greens.
Who knows: a roundabout could at least provide some fairly frequent entertainment when some jack*ss hits the center at 60 and trashes their car. Would be tempting to set up a webcam in that case.

My issue with the stop sign is environmental. Think of all the extra pollutants in the air as cars have to come to a stop and then accelerate again.

Not that many, I'd imagine. At least not enough to outweigh the safety benefits as the primary reasoning to replace the stop signs.
