I'd expect a lot more rehabs and infill around the North Grand corridor in the coming years. I have a real estate investor friend in Memphis, she asked me about the area near the greenway. I was actually surprised. I don't think many of us realize how big the greenway is going to be for the city.

This is great to see/hear. I just did Google Maps view of University Boulevard and it's still a really beautiful/mostly intact street. I've never driven down there since it's a dead end. Let's hope for a mix of (decent) rehabs/flips and some quality infill.

Yeah, the Lindell Park subdivision (bounded by Grand on the west, Natural Bridge on the north, Glasgow on the east, and St. Louis Avenue on the south) is mostly intact and fairly ornate -- it could easily be plopped into Shaw or Tower Grove South. It has definitely started to show some wear but projects like the one I posted about above go a long way in reversing that.

It's just such a shame that the old Central High School, the most famous landmark of this district, has been so vandalized.
