Plans sometimes come together slowly in St. Louis, but are rarely totally abandoned. Circa 2013.

The restaurant, aptly named Chicken Out, will be in the former location of Piccione’s Pastry at the corner of Skinker and Delmar (6197 Delmar), will serve chicken sandwiches that range from mild to hot.
Which one is that exactly? Is 5920 the multi-storefront building that is also 5922-5926?quincunx wrote: ↑Apr 24, 2020WUSTL also now has 5920 Delmar, another Joe Edwards property.
Anything east of Laurel will be an uphill battle due to the bus garage.debaliviere wrote: ↑Apr 27, 2020The redevelopment of Delmar from Rosedale to DeBaliviere feels like it's taking place at an excruciatingly slow pace, even by STL standards.
Yeah, it's just amazing to me that the garage at Rosedale or the site of the former McDonald's at Laurel, or even the block directly west of Hamilton. I totally thought all of that would have happened by now.wabash wrote: ↑Apr 27, 2020Anything east of Laurel will be an uphill battle due to the bus garage.debaliviere wrote: ↑Apr 27, 2020The redevelopment of Delmar from Rosedale to DeBaliviere feels like it's taking place at an excruciatingly slow pace, even by STL standards.
Some of the properties to the west might need to get developed (Rosedale Building, Church's Chicken lot, Olivet Baptist Church building+lot, large empty tire garage) before things start spilling over the tracks.
With the exception of the park fronting Delmar.quincunx wrote: ↑Apr 27, 2020Still wishingLucier Park Options.png
