^Where's the guy with the rooster-do? Add him in and this development is perfect!

I kid. Glad to see this moving forward. :)

Is this project still happening? The website now says "coming 2020" and I thought they were supposed to have begun construction by the end of the year.

Still on track. The latest - from a presentation by the development team on 12/12 - is that it will start construction this winter (Q1 2020), comprising 150 apartments.

He's a few blocks away sitting on a bench, and staring at his phone as usual, by the Forest Park Metro Station...

I think that dude deserves his own thread.

There are full dumpsters and lifts onsite which means interior demo well underway.  I snapped this pic today and counted 20+ worker vehicles in the parking lot.

I watched the Q&A and it was interesting. It is now up on YouTube:

According to Maxine the main building has signed LoIs for 80% of the building. There will be a small amount of retail space that includes a pharmacy. They are scheduled to open next summer / fall.

Anyone have any recent photos? Would love to see what was saved, demo'd, new doors, windows, etc.

Wasn't able to grab a photo but I drove past today and construction is still fully involved. The main building closest to the street doesn't have windows or drywall.

Just listened through the whole thing. She really has a raving review of the neighborhood. And I don’t think it’s marketing, I think she really believes it.

There are actually some pretty awesome spots north of Delmar right around there.  Beverly Place just a block east is a cool private street with some great houses
