No surprises, she's drawn in a tough new ward with Green.  Idk if Green herself will  run but she'd be tough to beat + they are friends
Ingrassia doesn't have any current alders drawn in her new ward next year but she's not running.

For some reason I was thinking she'd overlap more with Volmer than Rice, but . . . show's you what I know. Not sure what her personal address is anyway, and that probably determines what ward she can run in.

^Sure sure, and it would be stupid to move just to run for the board of aldermen. I get it.

Yikes, I would much rather have Spencer than Coatar in that seat.

Correct, and there's no reality where Guenther ousts Coatar

How is this any better than Missouri Republicans trying to not execute the will of the voters in regards to Medicaid?

They’re dropping quick! I don’t wish unwell on anyone but I’m happy the new 14 is starting to come into focus.

Is he resigning early? or is the official "out" date for those not running coming up?

Bizarre, this will probably end with a federal indictment and John had plenty of personal issues but if all alders cared about their ward as much as he does we’d be a better city

Like many local pols, he campaigned as a progressive when he ran for the first time but immediately turned around and became one of the most reactionary members of the Board. Reed losing him as an ally is a big blow.

He was hard to like at times however his passion for his neighborhood was indeed admirable. He did start as a progressive but probably soon realized that the progressive platform wasn’t going to address the issues in his neighborhood and wasn’t reality. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering his historical inability to follow the law.

^Wow! That's going to leave a mark! I think we all know who "John Doe" is here. Which leaves me wondering just what else is going on. It does help to explain why "Johnny D." got away with so very, very, very much. X(
