I believe it was The Koman Group.urban_dilettante wrote:which developers expressed interest in buildings something there?JaredOpsal wrote:7. They said there is nothing imminent though.

I actually think that a dog park is a decent idea for the space. I'd actually rather see them focus of developing the green space between 9th and 10th North of Clark over this patch. I'd rather have something both places and would have rather had something a Cupples 7 than nothing at either but given that both are now vacant I think Cupples 7 would make a better pocket park and a dog park provides a unique to downtown service that you would likely never see in the other space. Hopefully at some point both could be developed but in the meantime I would definitely be guiding any interested developer toward the other space if possible.
Does Koman already own a parcel/side lot in the Cupples Warehouse District when it made a deal to buy/develop one of the Cupples Warehouse?
Also, my next thought was too bad Koman wasn't picked as WWT choice to go to for new HQ. Thinking in terms of WWT in a new CWE tower (Koplar/Koman/Clayco deal) and or Cupples Warehouse district downtown. I can picture a nice shiny new slender tower overlooking the Cupple warehouses as I type with WWT on all four sides or maybe just a big old WWT letters topping off the tower. Either choice would put LHM's Westport proposal to shame

"1. Everyone wants a building on that lot."
We had a building on that lot that they couldn't wait to tear down.

^ Has anything come of the supposed actions that Slay would be coming up with to help prevent such cases in the future?
Is that space even developable? The narrow portion with the concrete path and benches directly across from the Court House is owned by the good ole USA but I can't remember if the grassy part extending over to 9th has any restrictions on it although I don't think they own it.STLEnginerd wrote:I actually think that a dog park is a decent idea for the space.
