And there's only 4 seats left on that flight!

Kidding, I actually believe this one. Anyway, it's really good to see condos coming back. I live in a condo building downtown (I rent from an owner) and there's definitely a lot more permanence among neighbors, much better for the city. That being said, we're also really trying to push for inclusionary zoning downtown.

Over half sold already! That's impressive.

Steel work is going up. Hopefully the entire building will be steel, and not just the first floor. We'll see.

agree, talk about a good feeling shot of CWE/Midtown vibrancy.

The one thing that came to mind. A new Aloft hotel with a enough height to break up FPP along that stretch of CORTEX would make the photo even better. Trying to picture if the current proposal would do that or not

It's going to be really interesting/exciting to watch development along Forest Park Ave in the coming years. Between its large supply of older low warehouse style buildings and surface lots, a new adjacent Metrolink station, being anchored by Cortex and bookended by BJC/WUSM/STLCOP, IKEA, Foundry and SLU, and its general convenience to just about anywhere, it really seems primed to transform into a more dense, active and built out corridor.

This rendering is from roughly the same angle, showing the A Loft next to the Tech Shop building. Looks like the hotel (6 stories) will add a small bump to Wabash's pic , but nothing dramatic.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't this hotel stalled?

Construction update:

What a great corner/block this has turned out to be. From the middle of the intersection there is an awesome view of the Park East tower. Couldn't get a picture there was too much traffic.
