Great stuff! This will definitely make it feel more complete (and it looks like already an eye for more with the unknown attraction next to the coaster). Might be tapped out after that unless another phase includes some kind of parking garage to make up for the parking lost to additional things under the shed., which I'm sure they'd say is needed.

Really looking forward to these upgrades.
Downtown should look a little more lively for drivers on I-64 now.
Next, over the next 5-10 years, the plan should be to develop the lots across the street and to fill out the underneath of the shed with attractions while removing all parking spots.

i'm kind of surprised this phase doesn't include a parking garage on the existing lot between Maggie O'briens and the Drury.EssTeeEll wrote: ↑Jun 12, 2024Great stuff! A garage south of the shed should not ever be acceptable.
This area would do well with some infill apartments. It's near Metrolunk and a lot of attractions. Seems like it would be prime area for new development.
Yeah, I can't be the only one not super excited for carnival attractions and wanting something a bit more than a parking garage in that lot.
Does the old movie theater building still exist in this area? I would love to see this get reused, repurposed, or at a minimum reopened. I know the AlamoDraft House isn't far from this area but the more competition the better. Someone all AMC or Marcus.
