Hey, nice! I suppose the restoration of the cornice from the picture I posted back in 2015 (!) is too much to hope for, yes? Not holding my breath, but it's not terribly elaborate and IMO makes a big aesthetic difference.

Now slated for 26 luxury apartments from Bamboo Equity (folks doing the 300 S Broadway redevelopment).  No subsidies being sought.

(I believe the previous project came to a sad ending when one of the law office partners was killed in his Metro East home a couple years ago.)

Good to see that thus returned. Bamboo Equity Partners went from being pretty unknown (at least by me) to being pretty well known. Between this, 300 South Broadway, and a small building renovation in Clayton, they're moving up.

I assume they are planning to cut windows/balconies into the side? I was still holding out hope that something could be built right next to it.
