I still can't believe they were allowed to build this thing on that corner. I realize it's supposed to be "temporary", but we all know how that goes. And it's better than tearing down the old firehouse just to the east, which was their original plan.

I'm okay with temp buildings like this, as long as it's not hurting the performance of the school. It's buildings like Vashon HS, Gateway MS, and Cardinal Ritter College Prep that I have a problem with. Basically just copy-paste suburban schools with huge set-backs. Metro HS isn't perfect but it's much more interesting than most new school buildings in rust belt city centers.
