the Washington avenue spotlights ? why do they not work, how can we get these back on 
was just told by my alderman ,that the spot lights on Washington avenue are for festivals only ? . wow i have been to alot of festivals on Washington ave over the years and never seen the spot lights on

the ones between tucker and 14th on washington avenue .that are never on.
The street lights on that section of Washington feature two light fixtures. The everyday reflective lighting and a spotlight on top. I believe I've seen the lights on top turned on during the Fashion Week runway show last year, although I am not sure. (I was paying more attention to the models.)
Since they are too bright under normal circumstances, they are not used much.

my concern is that lights in this city will stay off for years if no one sends a email. they used to keep the spot lights on at the intersections at Washington and tucker and Washington and 14Th. the lights on the clock tower at union station they were out for over 2 years thanks to my emails they are back on now and the aloe plaza fountain will be back on in about a month after about 2 years of being off to. if we have they used them . love union station and aloe plaza lit up at night wow just wow.to save money we could always used energy efficient light bulbs
