Do you happen to know if the reluctance to strictly interpret and enforce is due to a philosophical preference for a more lax and hands off moderation style, or if it is due to burnout / overwork on what is a volunteer position?
I only ask because, if the former. that's potentially something we might want to discuss philosophical on this forum, and if the latter, maybe they could use some help!

It’s been said, and I’m sure we’ve all heard it said, that Dems/Libs shouldn’t call Trump/MAGA fascists and Nazis because it’s “divisive” or “inflammatory”. So it’s good to point all of the ways that Trump/MAGA in fact have acted like Fascists/Nazis.
1. Usurping governmental authority from Congress by claiming emergency powers when there is no emergency - Hitler and Caesar did exactly this.
2. MAGA is a dialectic philosophy of history.
3. Scapegoating minorities and political opponents for the country’s problems.
4. Trump is building/filling concentration camps for undocumented people detained without due process.
5. Deportations without due process.
6. In TN the MAGA legislature just passed a law requiring a public database be kept on transgender people. This is exactly what Hitler did to Jews with the Judenrate registers.
7. Waging wars of aggression that violate the US constitution and the UN charter.
8. Show trials against political opponents - luckily these have all failed miserably.
9. Young Republican groups across the Country are frequently having chats leaked that espouse racist and Nazi ideologies.
10. Elon Musk using Nazi salutes
11. “America First” is the same as “Germany above all” a common Nazis slogan/principle.
12. Embracing white replacement theory
13. Only accepting refugees that are white.
14. Executive Order 14188 - Google it. It’s not even a dog whistle. It’s a fog horn.
15. Christian Nationalist and crusader ideology pumped into our armed forces.
16. Segregating the armed forces and prohibiting the advancement of black/female officers.
17. Attacking birth right citizenship
18. War crimes: Attacking civilian vessels in the Caribbean, double tapping a girls school in Iran, leaving enemy sailors in the water to drown/be eaten by sharks after sinking their vessel.
18. Demanding universities provide scrolls of Jewish students and Palestinian activists. Again, in both cases, these are Judenrate registers.
19. Recruiting for ICE from white supremacist networks.

It wouldn't be thankless if they actually enforced their "rules" with some level of equality. Other users have literally posted evidence of Wither threatening them in private messages, but he's still here. This most recent tangent on this very thread wouldn't have happened if Debaliviere91 wouldn't have started engaging in arguments for some reason. Literally hadn't posted in over a month and then suddenly pops back up feeling the need to argue.
I wouldn't mind if the mods just struck the entire last day of this thread.
