There's an interesting article in the Beacon lead poisoning in St. Louis. Progress seems to be being made in some of the poorer St. Louis neighborhoods:
Lead poisoning rates have been part of city Health Department reports for at least 39 years. During 27 of those years, the childhood lead poisoning rate has been 10 percent or higher -- and as much as 48.5 percent in 1992; 34 percent in 1972; 32.3 percent in 1973, and 31.1 percent in 2000..."Right now," [city manager for children's environmental health] Arrighi beams, "the rate of lead poisoning in the city is a little under 3 percent."

Oh no. thanks for sharing this. I will be watching this closely. Our condo in DeBaliviere Place was impacted by tornado and we had to move out. Our little one was born in August and our HOA informed us that we can move back in August. We were so looking forward to it. Now I need to rethink my plan.

Is there a way to reach out to the investigator for results?
