What was the attack? No vulgarities or diminishment of your intellectual faculties, as you have so often and generously graced many others with on this once intellectual (apologies in advance to Jane) forum. I merely questioned your political support and called you stubborn, which many could actually see as a compliment.

Should have guessed someone so prone to personal attacks and vulgar language was so sensitive.

Actually saw the county and city taking care of quite a few over the past couple of days, even on side streets, so maybe a good sign.
I'm not trying to give them a gold star and a pat on the head for doing their job: but MODOT was working on Laclede Station yesterday (a Saturday afternoon).

County out doing a whole bunch of filling on Hanley yesterday (Monday). Didn't do a whole lot of city driving, so hopefully they're also following suit.

And i noticed you posted a rather vitriolic response late at night and it was edited by morning because you knew you effed up. At least we can put this behind us now that Monday's spike to 75 degrees cleared the last of the road blocking snow piles. Now all that's left are the parking lot mountains that might well remain until March.

I wouldn't say Page has gotten glowing press in recent months. He's not up for election for another 18 months so obviously his performance isn't under as much scrutiny as someone who will be on the ballot in 4 weeks. Fairly or unfairly.

Peering from across the City-County line Page seems like a very inept politician. He always seems to be getting into disputes up and down the line over what powers he actually has or does not have. I have to imagine all the legal cases have added up to quite a bill for County taxpayers.

Looks like more snow and ice headed our way this week around Wednesday. Seen 1-3" of snow posited and even 3-6", along with ice. Hopefully not too bad of a winter storm this time and plowing of side streets happens faster this time around.

In any case, I'm excited to try out my little snow blower I bought after the big storm last month.
