Who is the demo company and general contractor, or do they have that yet? This reads that it's been going on for a couple years.quincunx wrote: ↑Oct 24, 2022The Ronald McDonald House Charities of St Louis
They have this, but permits are (generally) issued in the name of the property owner, not the contractor or demo company.
That said, I'm pretty certain BSI is handling the first phase of this project.
Indeed BSI is listed as the contractor on the building permit application and they're on the sign on the fence..
AHRENS CONTRACTING, INC. is listed as the contractor on the demo permit for the at least the other building that's already under demo. Not sure if it's the same for the church.

This looks really nice popping out of the end of Chouteau Park.
Looks great so far. Any ideas why part of the building is steel framed, while the rest is wood?
Looking good. I'm glad they could find a way to meet the corner and still serve sick kids and their families.
I agree looks good, so far. Whats the material covering to be used on what is not now brick?

^I think just a different color brick from what I saw on the render board at the site.
Of course no sidewalk trees.
This is how we erode livability, walkability, climate resilience, wildlife etc…

It's crazy how uncommon street trees in new developments are.

Unfortunately there aren't good minutes from that meeting. While renderings ≠ reality, they did show trees along part of Chouteau.
Let me reach out to some folks.
